Initial Release - Gameboy Showdown 2023 Submission

A submission to the Gameboy Showdown 2023 game jam, created in GB Studio.

One Day is a short, feel-good narrative told through poetic, second-person storytelling. It’s meant to be a relaxing and immersive experience closer to reading a picture book than playing a game. I had a lot of fun using new and unique resources to create this as my only goal was to make something pretty and uplifting. I hope you enjoy it <3

Minor future fixes are planned, we did run out of time during the jam.

- typos: tapestries, embracing, meadow, 

- different font for better legibility

- some dialogue spills over, needs reworking

- minor image tweaks, some editing mistakes leading to poor indexing (images not using all enough of all 4 colors)

- possibly more active game scenes

- .cia file tile display image is incorrect aspect ratio
